Situated within the Global Risk & Security Division, the Counterparty Risk Management Team conducts credit reviews, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring for Vanguard’s global counterparties. The Credit Risk Analyst role will primarily focus on expanding coverage of securities lending and banking relationships for the Personal Wealth (PW) Division, supporting key enterprise priorities. This role is designed for a strong credit analyst who can pair rigorous financial statement analysis with clear, executive-ready stakeholder communication. The role covers counterparties across Vanguard’s Personal Wealth Division, along with coverage of trading counterparties and brokers for the Investment Management Group (IMG). For approved trading counterparties, the team performs analysis and monitoring to ensure risk exposure is appropriate based on each counterparty’s creditworthiness, collaborates with stakeholders to manage risk exposures, and ensures Vanguard’s compliance with SEC Derivatives and Liquidity Rules.
