About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Credit Risk Administrator to join their Credit Administration department in Salt Lake City, UT. This role reports to the Senior Credit Executive and involves performing various tasks related to credit administration, documenting control activities, analyzing and distributing management reports, and providing support to the division. The position also includes analyzing and improving processes and policies, potentially leading enhancement efforts and special projects, and acting as a liaison for credit administration issues. The administrator will also assist management in preparing materials and facilitating meetings for credit approvals and portfolio management.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in a related field
  • 6+ years related experience
  • Experience with loan credit processes and procedures, project management, or credit analysis
  • Experience with credit-related banking issues and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail and be organized and self-motivated
  • Solid customer relations and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to learn basic functions of department specific systems, processes, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of job streams and tasks related to credit administration.
  • Assist in completing and documenting control activities.
  • Create, review, analyze and distribute credit administrations management reports.
  • Provide advanced, diversified and confidential support for the division.
  • Responsible for ongoing process, policy and procedure analysis, adherence, and improvement.
  • May lead process enhancement efforts and special projects.
  • Function as a liaison with others within and outside the company regarding credit administration issues.
  • Work with management in preparing materials, facilitating the process, and running meetings necessary for credit approvals or portfolio management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
