About The Position
COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 94 WEST CHICAGO, IL 60185 is seeking a Credit Recovery Teacher for the Connexus program for Summer School 2026. This position is for internal applicants only. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, English, and Consumer Education. The summer school sessions are from June 3-June 18, 2026 (Session 1) and June 22-July 8, 2026 (Session 2), with no school on July 3rd. The working hours are from 7:55 am to 12:55 pm.
Requirements
- ISBE Professional Educator License required
- Secondary math preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach Credit Recovery courses in Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, English, and Consumer Education within the Connexus program.
Benefits
- Pay defined by the collective bargaining agreement.
- Summer school teachers are paid for one (1) hour of preparation time for each day of teaching that equals or exceeds four (4) hours.
