DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Credit Processor to join a high performing, rapidly growing Consumer Credit department. Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 Years experience in all Consumer Loan Products is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with confidential files.

Responsibilities

Provide loan decisions and/or credit recommendations based on a review of all underwriting criteria.
Educate and provide courteous, timely, and effective support to DCCU employees on Consumer Lending functions, including Home Equity processing, title record management, and consumer loan Quality Control.
Ensure consumer loans are documented in compliance with current Credit Union policies and procedures.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, including applicable state and federal requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert in real estate lending, with a focus on processing and document preparation for all Home Equity loan requests.
Communicate and coordinate with appropriate vendors, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), auto dealers, and other external partners as needed.
Facilitate and perform administrative duties associated with Debt Protection and GAP claims, ensuring accurate and efficient administration of related programs.
Support operational excellence by ensuring lending processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
