About The Position
Angott Search Group is partnering with a Michigan regional bank to hire a Commercial Credit Manager in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Credit Manager plays a central role in maintaining the safety and soundness of the bank’s credit portfolio, leading credit underwriting, approvals, and portfolio oversight across commercial, commercial real estate, and private banking relationships. The position combines technical expertise with decisive, results-oriented leadership to ensure credit decisions align with the bank’s appetite, regulatory expectations, and growth objectives. The Credit Manager fosters accountability, collaboration, and disciplined execution across lending and risk functions. This person leads ten commercial credit analysts, an appraisal coordinator, and an administrator, and manages workflow and the pipeline. The role reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer and is an in-office position in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Lead credit underwriting, approvals, and portfolio oversight across commercial, commercial real estate, and private banking relationships.
