Credit Manager
About The Position
Toromont Cat is looking for a Credit Manager to join our team at our Thunder Bay Branch! This is a Full Time, Permanent position. The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available. As a Credit Manager, you will experience working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority. Requirements
- Must have post-secondary education in Business Administration with a strong Accounting capability.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office; excel intermediate level
- Knowledge of accounting and legal aspects of credit
- Must have excellent communications skills with customers in order to make collection calls.
- Ability to analyze a customer’s Financial Statement and utilize Equifax to properly determine the credit worthiness of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Opens and processes new credit accounts
- Collects and follows-up on customers’ accounts
- Releases orders on credit hold
- Reconciles accounts
- Handles customers credit limits
- Issues weekly reports
- Supports other employees within the department
