Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Typing speed of 40+ WPM
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Comfortable handling customer concerns professionally and confidently
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while also being a team player
Dependable attendance and a professional attitude

Responsibilities

Handle customer calls and account questions related to billing, payments, statements, and credit
Assist with new account setup and account maintenance
Process payments and credit card transactions
Assist with past-due accounts and collection efforts
Research credit and trade references and assist with credit reviews
Prepare correspondence, invoices, reports, and other documents
Process and follow up on customer orders and payment requirements
Maintain accurate and confidential customer records
Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
Provide general administrative support to the Credit Department
