The Commercial Banking Development Program - Credit Analyst role is part of the L & D Sales II team within Commercial Banking. This group focuses on developing new business and servicing existing clients in the commercial/business banking space, typically for companies with revenues under $50 million. Responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating various types of loans such as equipment, SBA, commercial buildings, and working capital. They also develop and maintain deposit relationships for these business clients. The Credit Analyst will support the Credit Administration team by analyzing credit and collateral information to assess lending risk. This involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing company financials to ensure Bank compliance and updating the Bank’s systems. The role also requires direct client interaction to resolve compliance issues and operational inquiries, performing sensitivity analysis on client financials to evaluate credit risk, and preparing in-depth reports with action plans based on research. Collaboration with other Bank groups for treasury management products, foreign exchange instruments, derivatives, and legal documents is expected. The role also involves producing loan packages for new and restructured loans, facilitating reporting and requests with third parties like auditors and appraisers, and monitoring loan disbursements for compliance with Bank regulations.
