Credit Analyst - CTG Major Accounts
About The Position
GreatAmerica Financial Services is seeking an early talent or experienced Credit Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for underwriting commercial credit applications to support vendor partners selling equipment and solutions across the United States. The Credit Analyst will assess creditworthiness through research of business and personal credit, publicly available information, industry analysis, and financial statements to make independent credit extension decisions. The role involves processing multiple credit applications daily and provides a foundation in risk management, supporting career advancement within the company. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, self-starters, and adept at making prudent decisions quickly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical ability
- Enjoy making independent decisions
- Ability to process information quickly

Nice To Haves
- Understanding of financial statements is a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial lending preferred for the Credit Analyst (Experienced Professional)
Responsibilities
- Perform direct and thorough investigation and obtain relevant credit information to formulate credit decisions, providing written analysis and justification for the decision
- Review and analyze financial statements as applicable
- Monitor changing economic and/or industry conditions and adjust underwriting appropriately
- Communicate decisions or requests for additional information directly to vendor or applicant
- Evaluate and approve new vendor and manufacturer partners and programs, monitor ongoing performance, and interface with sales regarding operational statistics
