Requirements

Minimum of two years of lending experience with lending authority is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent math skills, proficiency in lending software/PC applications, and strong decision-making abilities.
Must be bondable and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Four years of financial institution experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and adjudicate loan and VISA applications, managing exception requests with sound administrative judgment.
Monitor and provide feedback on auto-approval systems to ensure our lending processes are efficient and modern.
Coordinate the delivery of loan documentation to dealerships and branches, ensuring seamless closing and disbursement.
Interview applicants to assess their financial needs and proactively promote products that help them reach their goals.
Monitor industry trends to recommend policy changes and represent the credit union in community activities.
Ensure strict adherence to lending regulations, including bankruptcy and collections laws, to protect our members and the organization.
