About The Position

This full-time position will focus primarily on providing all loan officer staff with appropriate administrative and detailed financial analysis support required to provide sound loan package presentations while maintaining compliance within Loan Policy guidelines. Conversion of customer financial statements into standard spreadsheet form, conducting analyses, and providing the loan officers with feedback are also critical elements to this position. In addition, this position will be responsible for reviewing major credits for quality, documentation, and capacity, and grading such credits within Loan Policy/Loan Review guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess a basic knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing.
• Possess a basic knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and other bank lending policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical abilities.
• Computer proficiencies including Word and Excel.
• Ability to utilize the internet efficiently for necessary research.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with preferred area of study in accounting, finance, and/or business.
• At least twelve hours of accounting courses.
• At least two years of related experience in credit analysis at a financial institution.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience using Sageworks.
• Completed a formal credit training program.
• Prior credit analyst experience.
