The Credit Analyst is responsible for the comprehensive management of credit files for commercial and other major borrowers and/or guarantors, ensuring adherence to bank policy and procedures. Key duties include compiling financial statement and tax return information, preparing detailed reports and charts for cash flow analysis and projections, and evaluating existing clients and credit facilities. This evaluation involves performing financial statement analysis, assessing compliance with borrowing bases and loan covenants, and identifying overall risk within a client's business, industry, customer base, and geographical location. The role also requires conducting research and analysis of industry and market data to develop financial projections. The Credit Analyst is tasked with preparing monthly and quarterly loan reports for presentation to the Loan Committee, Board of Directors, and the Senior Lender. Additionally, the position involves financial analysis of the outstanding Bond Portfolio, including tracking balances, purchases, redemptions, and rating changes, as well as individual bond analysis. The analyst will track financial exceptions and collaborate with lenders to gather and maintain current financial information. Underwriting for OnBoard Loans and LoanVantage Loans (or other applicable loans) is also a core responsibility.
