Perform collection and administrative duties for customer accounts, including telephone and email follow up with customers. Location & Schedule: This is an in‑office role located in Winston‑Salem, NC, with an expectation of working onsite five days per week.

Requirements

  • Team player with the ability to work well with small accounting team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess effective customer service, retention and collection skills.
  • Customer centric.
  • Goal and results oriented.
  • andds Hands on and details oriented.
  • Possess traits to adapt and flex to work with differing customer personalities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in collections and customer service.
  • Basic accounting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Systematic review and analysis of customer accounts to identify required follow up needed.
  • Manage customer accounts to maintain low levels of delinquency.
  • Negotiate, within pre-approved limits, payment plans and workouts, as needed, with past due customers along with resolution of unpaid finance charges.
  • Deploy effective methods for follow up to insure agreed upon customer deliverables pertaining to account status are met.
  • Process and post customer payments.
  • Identify, monitor and resolve unapplied payments, credit memos and returns.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with company key account managers.
