About The Position

The Credit Analyst - Commercial Real Estate position involves producing detailed analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties, researching market trends, and assessing the financial condition of business entities and individuals. This role supports Loan Officers and Senior Management by preparing reports, managing external requests, and gathering necessary information from bank customers. The analyst will also handle various special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Professional experience with a financial institution in Commercial Real Estate analysis for at least 3 years
• Experience in written analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties, with a focus on operating performance and rent rolls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.

• Experience with Moody’s Risk Analyst
• Experience with Fidelity Information Services’ IBS Insight
• Experience with Hyland Software’s OnBase
• Experience with Metavante’s BankerInsight

Responsibilities

• Producing analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties including: rent rolls, leasing activity, and operating performance (historical and projections)
• Research and present information on the following areas: Commercial Real Estate Markets, Comparable Properties, Public Real Estate Records, and Public information on Business Entities and Individual.
• Perform analysis of business entities and individuals to assess their financial condition with a focus on their ability to service their debt and/or pay rent
• Assisting Loan Officers in completing reports used by Senior Management in the monitoring and decision making processes
• Completing various forms and reports to request external reports (appraisals, environmental assessments) and address internal issues
• Contacting bank customers to gather information and/or follow-up on required items
• Various special projects from Loan Officers and Senior Management
