First National Bank of Oklahoma is an independently owned, financially strong, high growth bank seeking an experienced Credit Admin/Loan Processor. In this position, you will support the Credit Administration team as well as the Lending team through timely and accurate preparation of loan documents to include, commercial, consumer, and consumer real estate loans. We are looking for someone with a thorough understanding of most types of loans and other related regulatory and legal requirements as well as the ability to gather, compile, evaluate information, as well as obtaining documents necessary for timely completion of a loan.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in loan documentation, preferably with the understanding of TRID.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and evaluate detailed and complex loan documents.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and apply to role.
  • Thorough understanding and familiarity of the bank’s loan policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently to resolve problems and complete complex loan transactions.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory and legal issues encountered in the completion and closing of complex commercial, consumer, and real estate loans.
  • Detail oriented, high level of flexibility and adaptability, enabling individual to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be well-organized and display excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work multiple loan files at one time while maintaining reference for each file.
  • Strong team focus with ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in use of the bank’s Loan Documentation system (LaserPro) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must represent the bank in a positive, courteous, friendly, and professional manner, including telephone, e-mail, and other methods of communicating.
  • Preparation of Loan Documents (Commercial, Consumer, and Consumer Real Estate)
  • Filing Perfection Documents, including but not limited to (recorded mortgages/deeds, vehicle titles, UCC-1)
  • Responsible for ensuring that loan document packages are complete and ready for funding and boarding including coordination with title and/or escrow companies for closing.
  • Communicates and coordinates with bank colleagues to collect additional information needed to prepare loan documents.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate booking and funding of loans.
  • Responsible for scanning and indexing all loan document types to the Bank’s imaging system.
  • Performs a pre- and post-documentation review of loan documentation.
  • Responsible for requesting title work, appraisals, and flood determinations for real estate secured loans.
  • Cross-Training with other Credit Administrative duties.
