Credentialing Specialist
About The Position
Verifiable is a provider credentialing and network monitoring platform that uses AI, API, and Software solutions to help healthcare organizations optimize operations. We are a top Salesforce partner and have been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list. Our credentialing team is crucial to our business, assisting clients in credentialing their providers to ensure patients receive safe and timely care. In this role, you will work with healthcare clients to credential various provider types across multiple states. The ideal candidate has a passion for the details of credentialing, primary source verification, and working with multiple provider types in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone motivated by delivering high-quality, efficient work and excited about shaping the future of credentialing within a collaborative team. This is a fully remote position hiring in AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MD, MI, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant Credentialing Management experience (i.e Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers)
- Familiarity with NCQA standards
- Clear communicator with excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
- Professional experience utilizing tools Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs) and Adobe
- Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM tool
- Ability to work fast and enthusiasm for the healthcare tech industry
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders through both verbal & written communication
- Ability to balance more than one responsibility at a time, and enjoy a day that blends solo heads-down work alongside collaboration with a team.
Responsibilities
- Credentialing providers end-to-end, at times managing high volumes of credentialing caseloads
- Pioneering best practices & new workflows to manage provider credentialing
- Collaborating cross-team, with both internal and external stakeholders, to continuously improve the way we work
- Research to define our policies, procedures, and processes
- An eye for streamlining processes and best practices to make the messy world of healthcare provider credentialing more organized.
