We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Specialist to join our Brooklyn office. This role is essential in maintaining compliance and ensuring that all clinical and administrative staff meet required credentialing standards across multiple states and payer systems. You will manage a high volume of provider credentials while supporting timely onboarding, re-credentialing, and ongoing compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for clinical and support staff
  • Verify licenses, certifications, education, and background checks for compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records in internal systems
  • Coordinate with HR, Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Billing teams
  • Track expirations, renewals, and compliance deadlines proactively
  • Conduct regular audits of credentialing files and resolve discrepancies
  • Serve as a resource for credentialing requirements, timelines, and procedures
