About The Position
Epping Road Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for a full-time position. This role offers a competitive salary of $23–$27 per hour, based on experience, with flexible 4/5 day work weeks. The hospital operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no nights, weekends, or holiday hours. The practice is a three-doctor facility supported by a dedicated team, committed to providing exceptional patient care. Requirements
- Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential required
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Collaborative, team-first mindset with willingness to jump in where needed
- Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for veterinary medicine

Responsibilities
- Triage patients and obtain histories, vitals, and patient assessments
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Run in-house laboratory testing including CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecals
- Support surgical and dental procedures including prep, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
- Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical charts
