About The Position

Genoa Animal Hospital is a full-service small-animal practice in Genoa, Illinois, serving the community for more than 30 years. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness and preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, urgent and emergency care, and laser therapy. Its team focuses on compassionate care, technical expertise, individualized attention, and lasting relationships with pet families.

The hospital is seeking a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician. The ideal candidate has experience in anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical assisting and is comfortable interacting with clients. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Compensation starts at $22 per hour and depends on experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician certification, or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• Experience in anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical assisting; comfortable interacting with clients.
