About The Position

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring part-time Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) for their South Philly Hospital located at 2360 W Oregon Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145. The pay range for this role is $24.22 to $34.98 per hour. Banfield Pet Hospital is a leading general veterinary care practice in America with a mission to create 'A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS'. They aim to enable CVTs to work at the top of their license by providing resources and training in a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care
Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them
Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments. All appointments must be under the direction and supervision of veterinarian and in compliance with state law.
Work closely with teammates and cultivate a positive, dynamic work culture
