About The Position
Hanover Veterinary Clinic is a long-standing full-service veterinary medical facility with deep ties to the Dartmouth area community, located in beautiful West Lebanon. Our goal is to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients and clients like family. We are currently looking to hire a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Technician Veterinary experience
- Knowledge of equipment used
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Nice To Haves
- Surgical Experience (Highly Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Drawing blood and running bloodwork
- Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understanding the importance of client education
- Rooming patients/ Outpatient appointments
- Digital radiology including positioning
- Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
- Surgical Experience
- Teaching and training others
