About The Position
Registered Veterinary Technician | Maumee, OH Some technicians do their best work when the day is predictable. Others want a shift that calls on everything they trained for: triage, catheter placement, anesthesia, and critical care, sometimes all before midnight. If that's you, Veterinary Emergency Center in Maumee was built for you. We're open 365 days a year for pets across the Toledo area, and we're hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. We've served Maumee and the greater Toledo area since 2013, open 365 days a year with doctors on site during evening, overnight, and weekend hours. We're a full-service emergency and urgent care hospital, so the stakes are real, and so is the impact you'll have. We partner closely with local veterinarians to be there for their clients' pets when their doors are closed. Our team takes pride in staying calm, sharp, and steady under pressure.
Requirements
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT,LVT,CVT) credential
- 3-5 years of experience in a veterinary setting
- Proficient in catheter placement, blood draws, and sample collection
- Availability for swing shifts of 8 to 12 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays
