About The Position

OpenArt is seeking a Creator Community Lead to manage and expand its global creator community. This role involves fostering strong relationships with over 1,000 creators, developing engaging programs, and leveraging the community to drive advocacy, distribution, user acquisition, and revenue for OpenArt. OpenArt is an AI creative platform that empowers individuals to create content with AI, having been recognized in the Disney Accelerator and by Notable Capital. The Creator Community Lead will be instrumental in building deeper connections with existing creators, attracting new talent, and transforming the creator ecosystem into a significant growth driver for OpenArt. This includes measuring the impact of creators on user acquisition, revenue, referrals, and product adoption through various initiatives like ambassador programs and creator-led growth strategies. The role also entails creating and testing community programs such as creator councils, early access initiatives, challenges, workshops, and feedback sessions. The Lead will collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to integrate creators into major product launches, ensuring they have early access to new features and models, and that their feedback informs product development. Additionally, the role involves growing the creator network both online and in-person, organizing events, and acting as the voice of creators within OpenArt.

Requirements

  • Experience building or growing creator communities at a significant scale.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain creator relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem across various platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with Generative AI image and video tools, models, and workflows.
  • Active engagement with current developments in Generative AI.
  • Understanding of UGC, social distribution, referrals, affiliates, and creator-led growth.
  • Ability to think about community in terms of both relationships and business impact.
  • Comfort using data to assess performance.
  • High degree of independence and ability to build without an existing playbook.
  • Enjoyment of interacting with creators, both online and in person.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep relationships with the creator community, understanding their work and needs.
  • Identify emerging talent and cultivate advocates, ambassadors, educators, and long-term partners.
  • Develop and test strategies for the creator ecosystem to drive new users, revenue, referrals, organic distribution, product adoption, and word-of-mouth.
  • Create and test programs such as creator councils, early access, challenges, workshops, masterclasses, meetups, dinners, creator spotlights, and product feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to provide creators with early access to new features and models, activate them around launches, and gather their feedback.
  • Grow the creator network by attracting new creators and strengthening the company's presence in key locations.
  • Organize events like meetups, workshops, screenings, and dinners to bring creators together.
  • Serve as the voice of creators within OpenArt, translating community insights for Product, Marketing, and Growth teams.
