Creator Community Lead
About The Position
OpenArt is seeking a Creator Community Lead to manage and expand its global creator community. This role involves fostering strong connections with over 1,000 creators, developing engaging programs, and leveraging the community to drive advocacy, distribution, user acquisition, and revenue for OpenArt. OpenArt is a rapidly growing AI creative platform that empowers users to create images, videos, stories, and more using AI. The company was part of the 2026 Disney Accelerator and recognized by Notable Capital's Prosumer AI 40. The team is described as small, ambitious, fast-moving, and ownership-driven. The Creator Community Lead will be instrumental in deepening relationships with the existing creator network and transforming the community into a significant growth driver.
Requirements
- Experience building or growing creator communities at a significant scale.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships with creators.
- Deep understanding of creator culture across various platforms.
- Strong familiarity with Generative AI image and video tools, models, and workflows.
- Understanding of UGC, social distribution, referrals, affiliates, and creator-led growth strategies.
- Ability to think about community in terms of both relationships and business impact.
- High level of independence and comfort building without an existing playbook.
- Enjoyment of spending time with creators, both online and in person.

Responsibilities
- Build genuine, long-term relationships with the creator community.
- Identify and cultivate emerging talent within the creator network.
- Transform strong creators into advocates, ambassadors, educators, and long-term partners.
- Leverage creator content and attention to drive new users, revenue, referrals, organic distribution, UGC, product adoption, and word-of-mouth growth.
- Test and implement ambassador programs, affiliate marketing, referral schemes, incentives, and creator partnerships.
- Develop programs that creators find valuable, such as VIP groups, early access, creator councils, challenges, workshops, dinners, and meetups.
- Build OpenArt's local creator network in the Bay Area, connecting AI creators, filmmakers, designers, and marketers.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to provide creators with early access to new features and models.
- Gather creator feedback to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure the creator community's voice influences product development and market launches.
