About The Position

The Creative Specialist is responsible for executing and supporting Elmington’s creative and marketing initiatives across digital, physical, and internal platforms. This position blends creative production, brand management, content development, and operational support. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, capable of managing recurring responsibilities while contributing to larger brand storytelling and campaign initiatives.

Requirements

  • Social media management experience required.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and website CMS
  • 2+ years marketing experience required.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, branding best practices, and social media strategies to enhance engagement and audience growth.
  • Expertise in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), including content planning, scheduling, and engagement tactics.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various audiences and platforms.
  • Proficiency in design platforms, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of website management and SEO best practices, with experience in platforms like WordPress or Squarespace.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coordinating video and photography projects, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, take ownership of projects, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with third-party marketing software platforms to enhance efficiency and workflow.
  • A proactive, creative mindset with a keen eye for emerging trends and innovative marketing opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar program preferred though not required.
