About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented Creative Services Manager to lead the people, process, and technology functions that enable high-quality content development across Cardinal Health (CAH) and OptiFreight® Logistics. This role serves as the operational backbone of our Creative Services model—overseeing content intake, hands-on content design, workflow management, resource coordination, creative production, review processes, and documentation of brand-aligned assets. The ideal candidate is equal parts operations leader and creative project manager, with a strong understanding of content development, design workflows, and cross-functional coordination. This person will also manage an offshore graphic design resource (CHIP) to ensure timely, consistent, brand-compliant deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in creative services, marketing operations, project management, or content development preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or design review tools (even at a conceptual or collaborator level).
  • Background in marketing operations, content systems, or creative workflow optimization.
  • Experience managing creative workflows, design resources, or digital project management tools.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and coordinate across teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of brand standards, content design principles, and creative production workflows.
  • Experience managing remote creative partners.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational agility.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Operational mindset with a continuous-improvement approach.
  • Strong eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear creative direction.
  • Comfort leading and influencing without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day coordination with the offshore graphic design resource (CHIP), ensuring high-quality, on-brand creative output.
  • Serve as the main liaison between internal stakeholders, Enterprise Brand team, and other relevant partners.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and prioritization to design resources, aligning work to business goals and timelines.
  • Support onboarding, process creation, training, and documentation for internal and external team members.
  • Lead the intake and scoping process for creative and content requests, ensuring full clarity on objectives, audience, messaging, and required deliverables.
  • Oversee workflow management from request initiation through final delivery, ensuring timelines, milestones, and processes are consistently followed.
  • Maintain and refine Creative Services operating models, including request routing, service-level expectations, review cycles, and quality controls.
  • Ensure all creative assets align with CAH and OptiFreight® Logistics brand standards, voice, style, and regulatory requirements.
  • Consult with business partners to solve creative needs, recommend the right deliverable types, and guide / execute content development.
  • Support content design (including hands-on content development) and production across a range of assets: presentations, one-pagers, infographics, digital assets, sales enablement materials, and more.
  • Partner with marketing, product, creative, and digital teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels.
  • Establish and manage structured review cycles, working with stakeholders to streamline feedback and maintain brand consistency.
  • Conduct quality checks at each stage of creative development to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with messaging frameworks.
  • Maintain Creative Services tools, systems, and workflows (e.g., project management platforms, content libraries, intake forms).
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational capabilities through automation, templates, and workflow enhancements.
  • Ensure proper documentation, categorization, and storage of creative assets in centralized content libraries.
  • Own the development and ongoing maintenance of Creative Services process documentation, templates, brand assets, and best practices.
  • Manage and curate asset libraries to ensure teams have easy access to up-to-date, approved content.
  • Support governance efforts to ensure consistent application of brand standards across all creative outputs.
