About The Position

Surface Experts is hiring a Creative Repair Technician to perform on-site repairs to hard surfaces such as bathtubs, cabinets, floors, appliances, countertops, furniture, and elevator panels. Technicians typically complete four or more repairs per day, using creativity and attention to detail to match colors, patterns, sheen, and materials. Repairs usually take an hour or less, require only a small amount of product, and are designed to avoid unnecessary replacement or refinishing. The role involves working at customer locations, including apartments, hotels, moving sites, and construction sites. Technicians provide customer service, record repair updates in a CRM/dispatch tool, and collaborate with a designated Support Team when problems arise. Surface Experts provides tools, products, a company vehicle, paid onboarding and training, and ongoing repair training and career development. No prior surface-repair experience is required; the company will train successful candidates in its five-step repair process and use of the tools.
