About The Position

GPJ is hiring a Creative Project Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in Los Angeles or San Francisco a minimum of 2 days per week. The coordinator is responsible for managing communication between the creative team and internal partners, advocating for the creative team by removing obstacles, assisting with timeline creation and management, and trafficking creative projects from request to completion. They will work closely with creative resourcing and Creative Directors to ensure appropriate staffing, manage project dashboards and status documents, and establish new tools when needed. The role involves coordinating and attending internal briefings and reviews, capturing notes, tracking down assets, following up with other departments for information, setting up creative folders and Slack channels, and flagging process issues to Creative Operations for solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage communication between the creative team and internal partners (account management, production, finance, strategy).
  • Advocate for the creative team by removing obstacles.
  • Assist with timeline creation and management, including following up with team members and adjusting timing.
  • Communicate creative milestone or deadline changes to the team.
  • Traffic creative projects from initial request through to completion.
  • Ensure programs are appropriately staffed by working with creative resourcing and Creative Directors.
  • Manage tools like project dashboards and status documents to keep the creative team organized.
  • Collaborate with creative leads and the Creative Resource Manager to establish new organizational tools.
  • Coordinate and attend internal briefings and reviews, capturing notes and next steps.
  • Track down assets and files when needed.
  • Follow up with other departments when the team is waiting on information.
  • Set up creative folders and Slack channels for programs.
  • Ensure files are saved appropriately and monitor Slack channels.
  • Flag process issues to Creative Operations and collaborate on solutions.
