About The Position

Searchlight Pictures is a global specialty film and television company that develops, produces, finances and acquires motion pictures and series for both worldwide theatrical and streaming releases. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Entertainment (preferably at marketing or post production agencies).
  • Must be an excellent communicator, comfortable collaborating with all levels internally and externally.
  • Able to multi-task and pivot priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Must be highly adaptable and proactive; a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Working Knowledge of the deliverables and specs for static and video files.
  • Working Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Word/Excel.
  • Must be available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Working Knowledge of Final Cut, Premiere, etc. is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of digital video and static file formats.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization and coordination of the production of all print materials from the prepress stage through printing and shipping.
  • Supply agencies imagery, photography (unit, special shoot, stock), and footage needed to build creative materials.
  • Assist with creative presentations and meetings, keeping abreast of the strategy, revisions requested, and materials to apply and/or relay appropriate creative notes to agencies, designers, freelancers, internal partners, and others, as needed.
  • May perform Jr. Designer duties when needed which require graphics knowledge and working in Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
  • Assist with the set-up of photoshoots/special assignments.
  • Tracks expenses and ensures budget is updated.
  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements for the executive, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions, as requested.
