About The Position

The Creative Marketing Specialist transforms marketing objectives into compelling visuals, messaging, and campaigns that bring First Harvest Credit Union's mission to life across print and digital channels. This role plays an integral part in shaping creative initiatives from concept through execution, brainstorming innovative ideas and producing high‑quality advertisements and promotions that drive member growth, engagement, and brand trust. A strong commitment to brand consistency ensures all content is cohesive, polished, and aligned with the organization's identity. Success in this role depends on close collaboration with marketing leaders and cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless, impactful campaigns. Staying ahead of design trends, advertising best practices, and evolving consumer behaviors is essential to keeping content fresh and relevant. Requirements

  • Three to five years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, and creative project management, including print production and vendor coordination.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing, web design, and multi‑channel campaigns is strongly preferred.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally represent First Harvest Credit Union when working with members, staff, vendors, and external partners. This role requires a high level of trust, diplomacy, and discretion, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively and influence others.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and creative partners to ensure quality, timelines, and budget expectations are met.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience in graphic design and a strong working knowledge of marketing strategies, campaign execution, and creative workflows.
  • Experience within the credit union, banking, or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong quality control and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all materials.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment, consistently meeting very tight deadlines while responding to shifting priorities and maintaining high creative standards, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Nice To Haves

  • A solid understanding of digital marketing, web design, and multi‑channel campaigns is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within the credit union, banking, or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English & Spanish (oral & written).

Responsibilities

  • Design high‑quality visual assets for print and digital channels, including advertisements, digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, presentations, and marketing collateral, using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and other online design platforms. Ensure all designs align with brand standards and support campaign goals.
  • Support the development and execution of digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as social media, display, and search. Collaborate with marketing partners to create compelling ad visuals and messaging that drive credit union product awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Produce and edit basic video content and animations for social media, digital ads, and web use, including short‑form videos, motion graphics, and promotional clips that enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Contribute original ideas and creative concepts that bring campaigns to life through visual storytelling. Translate marketing objectives into compelling narratives that connect emotionally with members and reinforce the First Harvest Credit Union's mission.
  • Lead the planning, development, and maintenance of branch‑level retail marketing materials, including signage, in‑branch displays, promotional collateral, and seasonal campaigns. Coordinate the production, inventory, and timely distribution of materials across branch locations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment. Partner closely with branch leaders and internal teams to support initiatives while maintaining cohesive member experience across all First Harvest Credit Union locations.
  • Manage and track marketing inventory across print and promotional materials, including maintaining accurate inventory levels, forecasting needs, coordinating reorders with vendors, and ensuring materials are available to support branch, campaign, and event needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Support additional marketing and creative initiatives as needed, including assisting with special projects, events, and cross-functional efforts that contribute to departmental goals, brand alignment, and organizational priorities.
