About The Position

Mare Island Brewing Co. is looking for a Creative Marketing Coordinator to join their growing team. This role offers hands-on experience in various marketing areas, including social media, design, events, merchandise, and the Yardbird Beer Club. The company is a brewery with a rich history, and the coordinator will help tell its stories creatively. The position is based at the Coal Shed Brewery in Vallejo, CA, with occasional travel between taprooms.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
• Strong photography skills.
• A keen eye for visuals.
• Strong writing skills with a knack for storytelling.
• Comfortable with social media (Instagram and Facebook).
• Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple projects.
• A team player who’s excited to wear many hats.
• Passion for craft beer and curiosity about the company's history.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish content for social media channels.
• Assist with the design and production of creative assets and marketing materials.
• Engage with the online community and Yardbird Beer Club members.
• Support events and beer releases with on-site coverage, photography, and promotions.
• Help manage the merchandise program.
• Coordinate logistics for marketing activities like beer festivals, donations, and beer club releases.
• Ensure brand consistency.
