Creative Lead

Tracksuit LimitedNew York, NY
$170,000 - $185,000Hybrid

About The Position

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced individual to lead our in-house creative studio, Tracksuit Studio. This role is a unique blend of creative director, editor-in-chief, and creative production manager, responsible for setting the vision, ensuring quality, and overseeing the production of a wide range of bespoke content for a B2B SaaS brand. Our ambition is to build the largest and most engaged brand and marketing community globally, producing content that audiences eagerly anticipate. Unlike companies with high creative expectations and limited support, Tracksuit offers a pre-assembled, motivated team (in-house creator, video editor, writer, social media manager), substantial budgets, creative freedom, and direct access to senior leadership. You will have the authority to set creative standards across the marketing organization and the opportunity to build a positive, high-standard creative culture.

Requirements

  • Experience leading creative talent and multi-disciplinary teams from concept to launch.
  • Proven track record of shipping integrated campaigns with high craft standards, regardless of budget.
  • Ability to set vision, influence senior stakeholders, and align creative decisions with strategy.
  • Skill in transforming insights into culture-driving ideas that capture audience attention.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to simplify complexity, make quick decisions, and gain buy-in.
  • Experience managing agencies and partners across markets, known for improving quality and speed.
  • A portfolio showcasing world-class craft and storytelling that earns attention.
  • Deep understanding of social media and creator ecosystems, and ability to leverage cultural signals into breakthrough ideas.
  • Experience establishing creative operating rhythms with marketing, product, and design teams.
  • Full-stack creative capability: ability to produce, direct, and contribute a unique voice to storytelling, rather than specializing narrowly.
  • Embody Tracksuit's spirit of freedom and joy, with a passion for building a brand that stands out through its point of view.
  • Relentlessly pursue and defend ideas that evoke emotion, laughter, learning, or genuine feeling.

Nice To Haves

  • Diverse creative background, potentially from alternative media, branded-content studios, or podcast production.
  • Experience building teams that resemble modern newsrooms.
  • A background rooted in writing, with a strong appreciation for language and words.
  • Experience as a copy custodian or editor-in-chief, understanding the power of headlines and brand voice.
  • Ability to translate mundane moments into engaging stories and think conceptually across video, social, and copy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Tracksuit Studios as the day-to-day creative leader, setting the creative standard and building a high-performing team.
  • Develop concepts, campaigns, and brand platform work across all channels and formats.
  • Provide creative direction across the entire department, extending authority beyond direct reports.
  • Manage and grow a team of writers, video editors, social media managers, and other creative talent.
  • Concept and create key pieces personally to maintain craft skills and stay creatively engaged (player/coach role).
  • Collaborate with product, growth, and marketing science teams to translate briefs into impactful ideas.
  • Brief and direct freelancers and production crews during peak campaign periods and major brand moments.
  • Establish creative processes, review cadences, and quality standards as the department scales.
  • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and identity across all brand communications.
  • Collaborate with the Global Art Director, Brand Manager, and design teams to grow brand assets.
  • Foster a culture of open idea exchange, constructive challenge, and mutual respect.
  • Provide honest critique and mentorship to develop taste and creative skills within the team.

Benefits

  • Competitive market-rate remuneration, reviewed regularly with a strong focus on fairness and transparency.
  • Employee Share Option Program (ESOP).
  • Annual wellness bonus.
  • Access to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Generous annual leave.
  • Paid parental leave and support for a smooth return to work.
  • Annual Learning and Development (L&D) budget.
  • Opportunities for growth, mentorship, and exposure.
  • Flexible working arrangements within an office-first culture.
  • An epic Tracksuit reflecting the company's vibe.
  • Pet-friendly office environment.
