About The Position

Perrin Sportswear, a nationally recognized leader in the screen print and embroidery industry specializing in souvenir and collegiate decorated apparel, is seeking a creative and talented graphic designer to join their Creative team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have a passion for creating fresh, modern, and fun apparel designs for various items including t-shirts, fleece, pants, caps, totes, and coasters. The role involves working with major clients in the souvenir industry and pushing creative boundaries to develop new and exciting designs. Perrin Sportswear is an employee-owned company with a state-of-the-art facility and a commitment to its employees and partners.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
Strong portfolio backed with designs made for garments, wearables and more.
Mastery of Adobe CS, CC.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-project environment.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Accepts suggestions and revisions easily.
Conducts one-self verbally and in writing in professional, courteous, accepting manner at all times, following appropriate company policies and chain of command.
Self-motivated to create and learn.

Nice To Haves

Six years experience designing for retail, resort or collegiate apparel markets preferred.
Preferred Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or similar.
Knowledge of the screen printing and embroidery process and limitations is key.

Responsibilities

Create fresh, modern, and fun apparel designs, including youth designs.
Design for t-shirts, fleece, pants, caps, totes, coasters, and other souvenir items.
Push creative boundaries and design new and exciting concepts.
Collaborate with a team of 9 graphic designers in the art department.
Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Accept suggestions and revisions easily.
Conduct oneself professionally and courteously in all interactions.
Be self-motivated to create and learn.
