About The Position

This role aims to create engaging video content that reflects the heart of God and His church by telling the story of the gospel, as well as the story of the local and global church. The ideal candidate will develop their leadership by owning responsibilities in a ministry area and create video content for the ministries and campuses of NewSpring Church while pursuing truth, unity, and beauty in all that they create. This role requires a drive to learn, grow, and extend knowledge/skill sets as often as possible. The Creative Filmmaker will conceptualize, shoot, and edit creative content, and be responsible for contributing to various parts of the production process (pre-production, production, and post-production). They will direct talent and manage shoots efficiently, work with or lead a team on a variety of projects, value hard work, and make rest a priority. Additionally, the role requires adherence to and encompassing the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Requirements

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs

Responsibilities

  • Develop leadership by owning responsibilities in a ministry area

  • Follow the Creative Team Process
  • Collaborate within the Creative Team and with other ministries
  • Care for and maintain the in-house studio space
  • Ideate and pitch video projects
