About The Position

Monks is seeking a Creative AI Technologist to join a specialized team supporting a complex product account. This hybrid role combines technical expertise and creative strategy, connecting developments in AI with engaging social content. The role involves monitoring and exploring the AI landscape, using APIs and coding to experiment and prototype, and helping keep social channels current while educating internal teams and external audiences about AI.

Requirements

Proven coding experience and hands-on proficiency with AI/ML APIs.
Comfort exploring technical documentation and building or testing tools.
Proven ability to achieve strong results with generative AI tools and current LLMs.
Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, engaging language.
Passion for training others and documenting processes.
Deep understanding of what resonates with AI enthusiasts on platforms such as X.
Ability to advise copywriters on relevant technical trends.
Creative problem-solving skills, including using new technology and APIs to solve creative problems, build internal tools, and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

Monitor developments from Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and the broader AI landscape to anticipate new features and provide strategic insights.
Create social content for X and Instagram aimed at AI enthusiasts.
Design prompts and use APIs to prototype internal tools, test AI capabilities, and produce images, videos, and copy.
Act as an internal AI expert and develop and lead training for creative, strategy, and design teams.
Document internal use cases and develop playbooks for integrating AI tools, including Google Workspace, across strategy, creative, and operations departments.
Explain prompts and technical details, including API usage when relevant, in accessible external content.
Engage with clients as needed to collaboratively solve problems and teach efficient prompting techniques.
