About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and creative PRN Creative Arts Therapist to join our inpatient behavioral health team in Langhorne, PA. This flexible, as-needed position focuses on facilitating expressive therapy groups for adults receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. In this role, you will utilize art, music, dance, or other expressive modalities to support clients in their recovery journey. This is a group-focused position and does not include an individual counseling caseload.

Requirements

Master's degree in a clinical or behavioral health field required.
For Music Therapist roles supporting Substance Use Disorder programs, a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy will be considered.
ATR-BC, MT-BC, or BC-DMT preferred; candidates actively pursuing board certification are encouraged to apply.
LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Facilitate creative arts therapy groups using art, music, dance, or other expressive modalities based on client treatment needs.
Prepare and organize materials, activities, and session plans for scheduled groups.
Observe client participation and communicate relevant clinical information to the treatment team.
Collaborate with therapists and clinical leadership to support treatment planning and service delivery.
Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment during all sessions, including responding appropriately to crisis situations.
Participate in required supervision, team meetings, and trainings.
Travel to program sites as needed.
Work approximately 15 to 20 hours per week based on program needs.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Complete all required trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
