This role involves teaching Creative Arts and Crafts to K-12 students in after-school settings for terms ranging from 6 to 18 weeks.

Requirements

Experience teaching school-age children.
Subject matter expertise in Creative Arts.
Passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids.
Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning.
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Willingness to bring your own voice and creativity to each class.

Responsibilities

Develop age-appropriate Creative Arts/Crafts curriculum for after-school students (e.g., Sewing, Painting, Pottery, Crafting, Embroidery, Illustration).
Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise.
Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged.
Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels.
Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment.
Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback.
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach.
Create a memorable experience for the children in your class.
