Requirements

Subject matter expertise in Creative Arts.
Passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids.
Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning.
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Ability to bring your own voice and creativity to each class.
Cooperative, supportive, and flexible.
Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy.
Resume showcasing relevant teaching experience (or other relevant experience/training if formal teaching experience is lacking).

Responsibilities

Develop age-appropriate Creative Arts/Crafts curriculum for after-school students (courses include Sewing, Painting, Crafting, Pottery, Embroidery, Illustration, and more).
Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise.
Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged.
Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels.
Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment.
Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback.
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach.
Create a memorable experience for the children in your class.
