Creative Arts Associate, NXT Gen
About The Position
The Creative Arts Associate will coordinate the production of services and events for NXT Gen (0-18) Ministries, ensuring continuity and flow for their weekly services and other special events. This role involves being the producer for all Grace Church NXT Gen services and events, including Grace Kids, NXT, and various special events like VBS, Fall Retreat, Winter Retreat, and Summer Camp. The associate will oversee the NXT Gen weekly schedule of special elements and announcements, acting as a quality control to maintain a culture of excellence that glorifies God. Collaboration with Worship, Production, and Communications teams is essential for effective production. The role also includes providing constructive feedback to ministry partners on creative arts, service flow, guest experience, content, design, and ministry cross-promotion. Additionally, the associate will recruit, develop, and support volunteers for production and creative arts teams, manage the planning process for NXT Gen and other assigned events, and ensure the quality and flow of services in conjunction with the Director of Creative Arts. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in Production/Creative field preferred.
- Knowledge of creative arts, production management, and some AVL operations.
- Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively across departments.
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
- Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry with utmost integrity.
- Consistent attendance and participation in Grace Church and involvement in the life of the church.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using ProPresenter, Planning Center, Slack, Monday, and Basecamp, or other service planning/team communications/project management software.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production of services and events for NXT Gen (0-18) Ministries.
- Produce all Grace Church NXT Gen services and events, including Grace Kids, NXT, and special events (VBS, Fall Retreat, Winter Retreat, Summer Camp, etc.).
- Oversee the NXT Gen weekly schedule of special elements and announcements.
- Ensure a culture of excellence in NXT Gen and other assigned services and events.
- Work with Worship, Production, and Communications teams to coordinate meetings, teams, and information for effective production.
- Offer constructive feedback and suggestions to ministry partners on creative arts, service flow, guest experience, content, design, culture, announcements, and cross-promotion.
- Recruit, develop, and support volunteers for production and creative arts teams.
- Manage the services and events planning process for NXT Gen and other assigned events, including communication, tracking, and delegation.
- In conjunction with the Director of Creative Arts, manage timing, service order, and necessary changes to ensure quality and appropriate flow, look, and culture on the platform.
- Manage video and creative content, host announcements, special elements, etc.
