About The Position
Wheeler Machinery is seeking to hire a full-time Service Technician in their Salt Lake City, UT location. The position involves disassembling all components, inspecting them, and creating a list of necessary parts in a timely manner. The technician will assist with the workflow of jobs through the shop, ensuring quality in all tasks performed, and completing these tasks within Cat flat rates.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of Cat SIS
- Safety minded
- Have all tools up to ¾ drive standard and metric.
- At least 3-4 years of experience with Caterpillar components.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble all components.
- Inspect components and determine reusability.
- Quality check components while they are being assembled.
- Work with others to get the job through the shop.
- Order parts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
