About The Position

The Crawler Tech Field III is responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of various crawler cranes with support for other mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Hydraulic Truck, etc.), tractors, trailers, and other various equipment at the company shop or in the field and/or job site. The Mechanic must have experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems, Steering, Suspension (heavy equipment, semi-truck, trailers and cranes). Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills of Regen/ SCR systems.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Mechanic.
Valid Class B CDL License.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong customer services skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems, Steering, Suspension (heavy equipment, semi-truck, trailers and cranes).
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills of Regen/ SCR systems.

Responsibilities

Provide support and assist with the DOT inspections on trailers, tractors and cranes.
Perform PM service on all equipment.
Assist technicians as needed.
Replace lights, mud flaps and trailer decking.
Provide support and assist with air brake inspection and replacement.
Provide support and assist with Samsara installation.
Provide support for Crane technicians.
Ability to travel regionally throughout Florida and work out of a service vehicle.
Ability to provide support as on call 24/7 Field Mechanic.
Provide support to branch mechanical needs as requested.
