About The Position
We are hiring a Crating Technician (Crater) to build wood crates and prepare equipment for shipment. This is a hands-on entry level role using basic tools and measuring.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/32")
- Comfortable with hand tools and shop equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Build wood crates for machinery and parts
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials (accurately to 1/32")
- Use hand tools, miter saw, and table saw
- Package and prepare items for shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
