Crating Associate
About The Position

Approximate schedule: 6 am to 2:30 pm. Some overtime may be required. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate. We are looking for the right individual to work in our shipping department, handling a variety of functions! The warehouse is not climate controlled, but we do have fans.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Excellent Attendance
- Punctual
- Ability to read orders and process them with accuracy
- Fork Lift experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- measure and cut wood to build wood crates for shipping orders
- use hand tools
- wrap and package orders securely to avoid damages in shipping
- move pallets/crates with a forklift
- Pull hardware to prepare for shipment
- Photograph all outgoing orders
- maintain a clean, professional, and safe working area
- assist in other departments as needed
