About The Position

Boeing Global Services in SeaTac, WA is seeking a Crater to support their operations. Employees in this position work in a Distribution Center or a Shipping Area building wooden and fiberboard crates for domestic and export shipments and storage. The position requires adherence to Export Control compliance, necessitating the employee to be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, which includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to carry up to 15lbs frequently and occasionally up to 35lbs
• Experience with power equipment and hand tools such as table saws, band saws, pneumatic nail guns, hammers and wrenches
• Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (24/7/365-day operation. Saturday and Sunday may be required work days)
• Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years experience with shop equipment such as tables saws, band saws, and pnuematic nail guns.
• 1+ year of experience in carpentry

Responsibilities

• Operate typical wood shop power tools such as table and band saws
• Operate typical hand tools such as hammer, drill and pneumatic nail gun
• Operate powered industrial trucks
• Apply labels, paint stencils and glue padding to crates
• Move completed crates to prescribed areas
• Wear eye, ear, hand and foot protection
