About The Position

As the Crater/Packer within our belt shop, you will construct wooden crates to efficiently and successfully ship finished products to our customers.

Shift Schedules:
First Shift: 4x10 Monday - Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm.
Second Shift: 4x10 Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm-2:00am.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills for asking questions and presenting information to others.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Demonstrate safe building construction skills, similar to a house framer, using saws, pneumatic nail guns and staplers.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to details and numbers for accuracy

Responsibilities

• Build various wooden crates for shipment and protective packaging of finished products
• Load crates with forklift or overhead crane, frequently with the assistance of other shop personnel.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to meet shipping requirements.
• Communicate with the Belt shop team to coordinate priority
