Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience – preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow daily schedule posted in Labels finishing area.
  • Complete job jacket paperwork for shipping and inventory labels.
  • Separate finished labels from the shipping car or inventory cart.
  • Assist with training temporary employees on packing procedures.
  • Insert single rolls of labels into individual dispenser boxes.
  • Shrink wrap and box rolls or stacks of labels and put correct labels on outside of boxes, i.e., box description label and sample label.
  • Print carton labels from EFI computer and Zebra printer.
  • Print bar code labels from Zebra printer for select clients.
  • Set up scale and scale count any sheeted jobs.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
  • Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
  • Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
  • Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
