Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required.

Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience – preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow daily schedule posted in Labels finishing area.
Complete job jacket paperwork for shipping and inventory labels.
Separate finished labels from the shipping car or inventory cart.
Assist with training temporary employees on packing procedures.
Insert single rolls of labels into individual dispenser boxes.
Shrink wrap and box rolls or stacks of labels and put correct labels on outside of boxes, i.e., box description label and sample label.
Print carton labels from EFI computer and Zebra printer.
Print bar code labels from Zebra printer for select clients.
Set up scale and scale count any sheeted jobs.
Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
