About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to perform inspections, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various hydraulic mobile cranes, including all-terrain, rough terrain, and boom trucks. The ideal candidate will have experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics in modern crane technology and a strong understanding of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, CCS, and LICCON systems. This role requires the ability to work independently, adhere to safety requirements, and maintain accurate reports. The position is full-time and may require overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

• Experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics in modern crane technology.
• Working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, CCS, and LICCON systems.
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 years' experience as a crane mechanic in an automotive, trucking or heavy equipment environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand operating, parts manuals, and technical drawings.
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Possess a TWIC card or be able to readily acquire a TWIC card.
• Ability to safely lift over 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various hydraulic mobile cranes including all terrain, rough terrain, boom trucks, etc.
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modifications to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications, as well as all DOT rules and regulations.
• Observe and maintain all equipment according to all safety requirements.
• Properly maintain all reports, including timesheets, work orders, and expense reports.
