About The Position
A Crane Operator position is available at Garney. The crane operator may perform functions of a laborer as required. This role involves operating a hydraulic or crawler crane and understanding safe working loads and signals. Knowledge of equipment mechanics and maintenance is also essential.
Requirements
- NCCCO certified
- 5 years in construction experience
- NCCCO crane operator certification
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Willing to travel and/or relocate
Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic or crawler crane
- Perform functions of a laborer as required
- Knowledge of crane/boom signals, blocks and tackle, wire rope, synthetic rope and slings, safe working loads and proper rigging procedures
- Understand safe working loads and signals
- Knowledge of equipment mechanics and maintenance
