Crane Operator - Certified Hydraulic with CDL
About The Position
ALL Sunshine Crane Rental, located in Apopka, Florida, is seeking a certified crane operator with a CDL for its rental taxi fleet. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package. The position is eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus, payable after 100 days of continuous, successful employment. The ALL Family of Companies is a privately owned crane rental and sales enterprise with 29 branches operating under the ALL, Central, Dawes, and Jeffers names, including specialized divisions for aerial lifts, boom trucks, and parts. Requirements
- Hold an active certificate from an accredited crane operator testing organization that meets OSHA criteria.
- Take initiative and work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Work safely around moving machinery.
- Be able to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature and humidity.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- A CDL with an acceptable MVR is highly desired.
- Experience in crane setup and teardown is a definite plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate complex heavy-lift equipment.
- Read lift plans and load charts, and operate a personal computer.
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
- Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
