About The Position

This is a 1st shift position responsible for various material handling and operational tasks within a manufacturing environment. Key duties include receiving and storing coils and dies, maintaining storage areas, operating equipment, performing inventory counts, and ensuring the readiness of production machinery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2 years experience in a similar position with Auto Industry.

Responsibilities

Unload trucks and place received coils in designated storage areas.
Complete receiving paperwork and utilize the kanban card system.
Stage coils at feed lines and return banded coils to storage.
Stage dies and return dies to designated storage areas.
Maintain housekeeping of coil storage areas, including coil alignment, debris removal, and hopper emptying.
Operate a floor scrubber in coil and die storage areas.
Perform cycle counts of coils and compare them to inventory records.
Monitor the status of external transfer press bolsters.
Complete changeovers on external bolsters promptly.
Perform daily crane and chain inspections.
Document inspections and report identified issues immediately.
Perform other essential functions as assigned.
